The Phoenix Convention Center recently went through a $600 million renovation and several new construction phases. The unique architecture and eco-friendly construction called for a new logo and branding campaign.

The logo was designed to reflect the angles of the modern architecture, specifically the main atrium where not one 90-degree angle exists. The color palette and graphic sunburst represent the geographic location.

Featured at the Grand Opening Gala Event, the dinner program was designed with a metallic silver cover and embossed with a copper logo.

An corporate brochure was created to give potential meeting planners a general layout of the facility as well as a list of the state-of-the-art amenities. The overview brochure also included room capacities and dimensions, emphasizing the oversized Grand Ballroom.

A complete marketing collateral kit was designed specifically for marketing executives to promote the new space to convention planners nationwide. The kit included a custom folder, overview brochure and step sheets with detailed information.

Signage and models were created to display further improvements to the Convention Center. They also provided information on the newly constructed Metro Light Rail system which operated nearby.

The Phoenix Convention Center stationery set was a simple, cost-effective, one-color design. It reinforced the existing branding efforts in a clean, modern way, and was printed on recycled paper.

A monthly newsletter was created and distributed during construction to Downtown Phoenix organizations, businesses, and the general public. These newsletters contained important updates on the new building’s construction, design, budget and timeline.

The Executive Conference Center features very unique meeting spaces for smaller corporate groups requiring state-of-the-art amenities. The Conference Center collateral was defined by using a variation of the established earth tone color palette.

The advertising campaign launched the soon-to be-finished facility, highlighting renderings and state-of-the-art features of the one million square foot building. The design reinforced the angles of the logo and architecture.
